Congratulations to Mr. Tawanwit Luangwantha (Ph.D. candidate) on being selected to participate in the 15th Hope Meeting in Japan!


Mr. Tawanwit Luangwantha is a Ph.D. candidate in chemistry (international program) under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sulawan Kaowphong has been selected to participate in the 15th HOPE Meeting in Japan. Mr. Tawanwit was one of four fellows from Thailand who was selected by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) to attend the meeting in Kyoto from February 26th to March 1st, 2024.


HOPE Meetings give opportunities to excellent graduate students selected from countries and areas in the Asia-Pacific and Africa region to engage in interdisciplinary discussions with Nobel Laureates and other distinguished scientists pioneering the frontiers of knowledge. It is hoped that the experience the students gain at the meeting will inspire and motivate them to become excellent scientists able to shoulder the future of science and technology in the region.
